Truss WorkMinute Estimator | Tentative release target: December 1, 2026
Freedom to Choose Any of the Five Major Plate Vendors
TWE is being developed to give component manufacturers practical access to imported truss information from all five major plate-vendor environments—so management can choose the supplier that best fits the business without rebuilding the broader operating workflow.
Limited component-manufacturer beta participation available

Practical alternatives create negotiating strength
A Choice Is Only Real When You Can Use It
When changing plate vendors would require rebuilding workflows, relocating information, retraining departments, or disrupting customer service, management may technically have options without having a practical choice.
TWE is being developed to reduce that dependency. The goal is to let a CM evaluate all five major plate vendors and make a complete, legitimate supplier change without rebuilding the rest of the business around the new provider.
A legitimate change without rebuilding the business
TWE Connects Plate-Vendor Information to the Trusted AppWright Workflow
AppWright brings established market trust: it is used every day by thousands of users, including at more than 100 CM and LBM locations, to manage the broader business. TWE is being developed as the link between the selected plate-vendor environment and that proven AppWright workflow.
Plate-Vendor Engineering
The design team uses the selected vendor’s properly authorized engineering software and connector plates.
TWE Bridge
TWE imports applicable truss information from the selected plate-vendor environment, calculates CM-specific WorkMinutes, and passes useful management data into AppWright.
Established CM/LBM Business Workflow
AppWright manages customer information, documents, schedules, communication, tasks, and accountability across the business within a market-trusted platform.
The everyday operating value
Keep the KPIs You Already Trust—Then Add WorkMinutes
Supplier freedom is the central promise. Automated WorkMinutes are the day-to-day management value TWE adds after the truss information is imported.
Management keeps board feet, pieces, sales dollars, gross-margin dollars, and other familiar measures—then compares them with WorkMinutes based on the CM’s equipment, materials, quantities, and production methods.

Release Direction and Freedom With Responsibility
Initial Production Release
The first release is being developed for compatibility with all five major plate-vendor environments, the AppWright connection, automated WorkMinutes, familiar KPI and gross-margin comparisons, controlled user access, and exportable reports.
The tentative spring 2027 plan adds actual shop-labor tracking compared directly with estimated TWE WorkMinutes.
Supplier Choice with Contractual Integrity
TWE will not encourage or assist a CM in using one plate vendor’s engineering software with another vendor’s connector plates unless the software provider gives express permission.
Each CM remains responsible for its contracts, software licenses, product approvals, engineering requirements, and related obligations.
